also it needs some sort of story line or highscore so I feel like I want to play. maybe you could collect different weapons from different mob drops or chest loot?
I tried the latest version without backlight. I think it's worth focusing on. The game is already more or less playable, FPS on average stays at 15. When approaching objects closely, such as a wall, barrels or grass, FPS drops to 5 for no apparent reason. There was also a decrease in the frame rate per second during shooting to 5. The new decor objects look appropriate, in general, I like the design
Hello good man! played the 131 demo and had a little fun. Frame drops to around 10 when facing enemies or those leaves in the ceiling. Movement and shooting is good and strangely, it feels like a true adventure. Cant wait to see it completed. :)
My only feedback for improvement is that double tapping up shoots and when operating the crank with the d pad, this means often I am shooting my mistake. But otherwise, quite nice :D
I tried version 0.126, which is already more playable. Fps is kept at 15, sometimes falling in random places to 5-6. Approaching close to the trees, the fps drops to 5 always. With a large number of shots, it also decreases to 5. The character still moves quite slowly, the control of the handle still needs to be adjusted. It seems to me that you can try to reduce the size of the sprite of the shot, then you will be able to avoid FPS drops when shooting.
Okay, now we're getting somewhere. When just moving around it tops out around 12; which is still slow, but I move fast enough now where I can actually move around and do stuff. When there were two enemies on screen and I was firing at them it dipped to about 5. I also found a tree. The sensitivity on the crank needs to be dialed down a lot too.

hi. I have successfully launched your game on my playdate. I want to talk about the problems for now. the most important thing is the catastrophically small fps during the game. the feeling is that while walking, the value is about 20, but with each shot it drops to 0.

also, turns with the handle should either be made less sensitive, or removed altogether and come up with another application (for example, reloading weapons). sometimes, while walking (while I pressed the forward button), a person fired shots, although I did not press the firing button.
overall, I liked the style and the idea, but It still need to work. I hope you will not abandon the project, I will monitor your progress. good luck with the development.
I like the idea a lot. I downloaded it and it shows in the system as Air Defense UA. It technically runs on physical hardware, but it’s super slow. So slow that it’s, unfortunately, unplayable. I really want to try it out though, so hopefully you can figure out what’s going on.

I've been really enjoying where this game is heading. I love the feel of the controls.
Making it run at half the resolution in version 0.14 was a good idea. It's much smoother now.
I'm excited to see what you add next.

Hi there, I've added more objects to the game and a new level map. in v013. Also, 0.131 no-lights versions were added, comparing fps to 0.13
